wet n wild’s eagerly awaited annual conversion launch event took place on Wednesday, 8th of August in the fabulous setting of the Garden Terrace in The Baths, Clontarf with beautiful views of the sea and Dublin city. The conversion launch celebrated the arrival of new brushes, colour correctors, liquid highlighters, liquid metallic eyeshadows, setting sprays, eyebrow products and even something for our nails, a gorgeous new top and base coat. wet n wild’s famous eyeshadow products were also re-formulated, with a sleek new design and new shades!
Top Irish print journalists, online editors, bloggers, influencers and makeup artists attended the event to try, swatch and play with the new wet n wild® product and chat all things beauty related. Attendees were encouraged to bring a plus one from the beauty industry also as many feel more comfortable going to events with a plus one. All were welcomed with a bespoke cocktail or mocktail options for anyone driving and a mouth-watering canapé display was filled with delicious and nutritious finger foods for all, ranging from vegan options to sweet treats. A bus from Dublin city centre was provided for those who wished to avail of it and returned to the city after the event. Makeup artist Sarah Jane Lanagan was on hand for any makeup touch ups, to try new products on attendees and to answer any questions the guests had. The garden terrace was bopping with current pop tunes from the fabulous DJ, Mona Lxsa.
Guests travelled from far and wide to check out the collection with attendees coming from Galway, Belfast, Cork, Wicklow, Waterford and wider areas of Dublin. Attendees included top influencers Faces by Grace, Tara O’Farrell, Aimee Connolly, Gemma Leigh, Too Dolly Makeup, Laura’s views, Nadia el Ferdousi to top beauty editors, Rebecca O’Keeffe from Her.ie, Michelle Dardis from VIP Magazine, Rebecca Brady from RTE, Kat from Shemazing and Kendra Becker from Goss.ie.
