On Thursday, 18th October 2018, guests were invited to an exclusive event for the unveiling of Darren Kennedy’s first grooming range, Kennedy & Co, a collection of five Irish-created products to support men in the pursuit of everyday style and individual expression. The highly-anticipated range was celebrated with a breakfast and lunch event to key media in the luxurious surrounds and beautifully designed Penthouse apartment at Lansdowne Place, Ballsbridge.
The exclusive venue acted as the perfect setting to launch the product range with the campaign video and photography being shot on location, a campaign video was showcased at the launch for the first time highlighting the brand’s unique story.
The Kennedy & Co grooming collection takes an innovative approach to grooming, combining the best of Irish ingredients with global skincare expertise and renowned naturally-charged ingredients from around the world. The range includes a Purifying Peat Face Scrub, Hydrating Beard Oil, cooling Anti-Fatigue Eye Gel, a Daily Moisturiser with SPF20 protection and an innovative Matte Hair Clay with the active Baicapil™ ingredient.
Darren’s motto ‘Life is the Occasion’ was important when creating the product range, designed to easily fit into the daily routine and has been carried through as the campaign and event hashtag.
Whilst Darren presented the collection at the event, guests sipped on champagne and enjoyed bespoke breakfast and lunch canapés, which were inspired by the collection and curated with the best of Irish produce. Guests left with signature Kennedy & Co goodie bags including the full five-piece grooming range to enjoy.
